Once the trust had secured grant funding from the HCA Homeless Change Programme, PDW was appointed to Project Manage the development. Our role was to ensure the delivery of 39 self-contained apartments coupled with the provision of a communal lounge, laundry room and training facility within the tight timescales set under the HCA’s programme of funding.

Due to the importance of the scheme for both Halton Borough Council and Halton Housing Trust, maintaining a strong partnership between the two was key to the successful completion of the project. As such, PDW established and chaired Project Steering Group meetings throughout our appointment ensuring a consistent flow of communication between both parties on a regular basis.

The scheme is now meeting the demands of the borough with a much-needed service, providing vulnerable people with housing and on-site support for up to six months.

Since the completion of this project, PDW has successfully been appointed to Halton Housing Trusts Development Agency Framework.
