Waterside development

Appointed in 2014, PDW have continued to provide South Lakes Housing with project management support in relation to the development of 14 new build houses and apartments for affordable rent at Waterside, Kendal. The support services that PDW currently offer SLH under our Project Management role include:

Co-ordinating consultant resources to ensure validation of planning application, successfully achieved in February 2015 with the aim to gain full planning approval by July 2015.
Ensuring that the scheme remains financially viable and affordable to the SLH by carrying out financial appraisals and cost reviews.
Liaising and negotiating with legal representatives and the Local Authority in connection to the Section 106 Agreement.
Providing HCA bid support by Liaising with the Homes and Communities Agency in preparation for the grant funding application.
Through our continued work with South Lakes Housing, PDW have also subsequently been appointed to produce the Development Procedures Manual (DPM), providing a complete step-by-step guide to delivering all aspects of the development of affordable and mixed tenure housing, tailored to suit the organisation.
